Intravenous hydration and vitamin therapy is a minimally invasive technique that allows for immediate hydration and a boost in essential vitamins and nutrients.

WHY USE IV THERAPY:

  • Your body may feel fatigued and sore after an intense workout. Whether you run a marathon or hit the gym for a lifting session, your body will be hungry for nutrients afterwards. IV therapy helps all athletes recover following periods of exertion. Recovery IV drip therapy contains specific components designed to support both high level and occupational athletes during the recovery period.

Fluids help you rehydrate, while vitamins, antioxidants and amino acids boost your energy levels and help your body repair any tissue damage sustained to your muscles. This drip can also be used proactively to increase your body’s bioavailability and enhance your performance prior to athletic performance.

  • By delivering a high dose of vitamins and minerals directly into the bloodstream, IV vitamin therapy supports immune system function and improves overall health. This can be especially beneficial during cold and flu season or for those with weaker immune systems.

Our immune boosting IV drips contain a high dose of vitamin C and other key nutrients essential to the immune system. We also offer the option to add on powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-nausea medications to help relieve uncomfortable symptoms. We recommend the immune boost to help prevent illness and the super immune boost when you’re already under the weather!

  • Detox drips support your organs natural detoxification process. By delivering a high dose of antioxidants and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream, IV therapy helps to flush out toxins and restore balance to the body.

  • IV vitamin therapy helps improve the appearance of the skin by providing essential nutrients that support healthy skin, hair and nails from the inside out. By promoting collagen production and reducing inflammation, IV therapy reduces the signs of wear-and-wear on the skin for a more radiant complexion.

  • IV vitamin therapy slows down the aging process by providing the body with antioxidants and micronutrients that protect against free radical damage. By reducing inflammation and oxidative stress, IV therapy can help reduce signs of aging and promote vitality.

Our infusions also reduce stress and improve mental clarity by providing the body with essential vitamins and minerals that support healthy brain aging. Whether you are looking to improve your physical or mental health, IV vitamin therapy could be the solution you need to feel your best.

  • Migraines and headaches can be debilitating. The exact cause of these conditions are not always clear, but common triggers include stress, diet, environment, certain medications, and most commonly, dehydration. We can learn our triggers and try to prevent them but, sometimes migraine onset is unavoidable.

We know migraines and headaches can sneak up on us at the worst times. If you are looking for fast relief, IV therapy is the way to go. This drip includes anti-inflammatories, antiemetics and antacids to stop migraine symptoms in their tracks so you can get back to your life.

  • IV vitamin therapy has the ability to support weight loss. By delivering high doses of vitamins and minerals directly into your bloodstream, IV therapy helps boost your metabolism and increase your energy levels, which in turn, supports weight loss efforts. Additionally, some IV therapies may include nutrients like glutathione and lipostat, which can help to reduce inflammation & oxidative stress and speed up fat metabolism.

  • After overindulging during a night out you might wake up with a violent headache, nausea that prevents you from keeping that tylenol down, dry mouth, sour stomach and the desire to keep the shades drawn. A really tough hangover can ruin your entire day and put a stop to the plans you had.

IV therapy is the optimal and most reliable way to find rapid relief. Replace the last-ditch efforts of chugging a sports drink or a cup of coffee with an over-the-counter pain reliever and going back to bed. A hangover IV bag includes fluids to rehydrate the body, vitamins to support liver function and detoxification, and medication to relieve upset stomach, heartburn and headache.

THE SCIENCE

  • What does this mean? The FDA does NOT have the authority to approve dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness, or to approve their labeling, before the supplements are sold to the public.

Under the FD&C Act, it is the responsibility of dietary supplement companies to ensure their products meet the safety standards for dietary supplements and are not otherwise in violation of the law.

There are many counterfeit products out there, and it is very hard to know exactly what is in these supplements.

All our products are FDA approved; therefore, there is no question that our products are of the highest quality. You always know what you’re getting at Elm City Drip!

  • First-pass metabolism is a common cause of incomplete and variable bioavailability (proportion of a drug/supplement which enters the circulation) for orally dosed drugs. In some cases, systemic absorption is less than 15% of the administered dose.

Studies revealed that intravenous doses of vitamin C can produce plasma concentrations 30 to 70-fold higher than the maximum available oral dose.

Studies have shown the maximum plasma concertation of vitamin C from orally dose medications was 220μM; however, when compared to intravenous administration – concentrations were as high as 15,000 μM.

  • Patients with Crohn’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD/IBS), colitis, celiac and other GI conditions are at high risk for vitamin C & D, zinc, iron, and other mineral deficiencies due to long-term inflammation of the mucosa in the gut. This discomfort can lead to decreased oral intake and further deprive the body of essential nutrients.

Patients who have had resections have a decreased mucosa surface area.

Increased gastric losses secondary to chronic diarrhea, intestinal blood loss, mucus loss.

A study of over 500 IBD patients revealed that 49.8% were vitamin D deficient, 11% having severe deficiencies.

Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to increased disease activity; subsequently decreasing health-related quality of life.

78% of newly diagnosed IBD patients are deficient in vitamin D.

Vitamins and nutrients are negatively impacted by food processing and cooking.

Malabsorption occurs in the presence of GI disorders & diseases.

Nutrient deficiencies not only affect your day-to-day life, but also increases the risk of developing chronic conditions such as osteoporosis & hyperparathyroidism.
